Set a Timer Tuesday – Holiday Edition

Less than two weeks now until Christmas. How are we all doing with our decorating and planning? I know that after the decorations get up on the tree at our house, sometimes it takes a while for all those empty boxes to find their way back to storage. Hopefully this is not the case at your house but if it is, set your timer with me and let’s get to work.

  • Water the tree. (Because it’s thirsty.) And yes, I will keep reminding you about this one.
  • Take decoration containers back to the storage space.
  • Return the kid’s boxes/bins back to storage. (Our kids have had their own personal, smaller trees in their rooms in years past.)

Once you’ve finished decorating for the season, take a look at the leftovers. They’re left over for a reason. Get a big plastic bag or box and let go the ones that you no longer love. Someone else will be thrilled to find your “left overs” at the local thrift store.
